Other than a loose wire or short, what could cause the main fuse to keep blowing? Or is a short more than likely the issue? |

Does it blow as soon as you put it in, or when you switch on the key? If its when you switch on your key check the large ignition relay. I had this go on me and had the same problem. Good luck. |

it always seems to blow as I'm getting on the throttle. I replaced It immediately as I carry a spare and didn't get five feet before it blew again. |

As always, check your grounds/battery cables first. And the ground wire to the VR. A loose connection can cause high resistance, which leads to a high amp draw, and the fuse 'sees' that as a short, and pops. |

"A loose connection can cause high resistance, which leads to a high amp draw" That is exactly backwards. |

The dealer has determined the problem to be the VR. So at least u guys are all on the same page. How difficult is it to get to and replace on my own? I have the manual and could give it a try. |
