I have an 09 Firebolt with only 2000 miles on it. I just noticed this leak on a line that I traced to the oil cooler when I inspected my bike after riding earlier tonight. Has anybody else experienced a leak from this area? What can I do to fix it? I thought about just tightening the bolt there but I didn't want to touch anything yet since it is under warranty. Here is a pic of where it is leaking.

Update: The bolt does not look like the culprit. Oil is leaking out of the center of the fitting and onto the silver tubing that goes to the oil cooler. I also see some around the timing cover. You can see this in the pic |

Check for a cracked line. I had that happen on an automobile line once. Vibration caused it. Just a thought. |

Once you start messing with it you are likely to own the problem. A simple replacement of the oil line will almost certainly fix it. |

Yeah I wouldn't touch it. Take it in ASAP and have it fixed for free! |
