I have a chance to buy a Jardine exhaust but its missing the fairing mounting brackets, it there any place i can but them or make them? Does any one have any pictures? What are the pros vs cons, is it very loud and is there really any performance gains?

It's loud.

My fairing broke from not having the front support, sorry though I don't want to give up the mounts at this point.

It's loud.

You could probably get the mounts from Jardine. I would give them a call.

It's loud.

I found it gave a bit of a performance boost based on my but dyno. I also opened up the inner air box, added a K&N filter and tuned for the changes all at the same time though. Hard to say where the added HP came from.

Did I mention it's loud?

I put in the Quite Tip.

It's still loud.

Personally, I would look elsewhere if I were starting over. It's a budget can. You tend to get what you pay for. Enough people have complained about them falling apart that I have to think it's more than a couple of bad cans that went out. Mine has held up so far though. They do require periodic repacking, that adds to the expense and maintenance. It's not bad enough that I'm looking to replace it, but like I said I wouldn't go that route again. I would like to hear a Drummer to compare, but haven't run across an owner of one yet.

I also spent a lot of time with ECMSpy and MegaLogViewer to get the map working well. Are you comfortable with doing that? Or you could get the Erik Buell Racing ECM, but I understand it was really made for the Drummer IIRC.
