I've got a small Buell tail bag that lives on the back of my Ss. The velcro lets go every time I take the bike out, has since the bag was new. Anybody else have this happen to them? I am going to try safety pinning the velcro together. Any better ideas? Mueller |

I had that bag on my scg for a long time and never had a problem. Not sure how old it is, but maybe warranty..I know good luck with that I guess. You could replace the velcro as well. |

you could possibly replace the velcro, or if there is room maybe put some snaps in it, you can get a kit to install snaps from a local hardware store, and all you need is a hammer to put them in, i fixed some of the stuff we had for our daughter that we had got second hand that way, worked pretty slick. |

same thing happened to me! I used good old duck tape to hold those straps together under the seat!!!! |

I also have used the tail bag on my Scg for over two years without a problem. The strap under the seat is narrow and I do pay attention that the hook/loops engage the entire length. I guess they are not all faulty. |

Ive got the same bag. Initially i had that happen a few times. After looking at where the strap actually sits when seat installed, I noticed that you have to leave some "slack" to allow strap to go over all the stuff under there. If you tighten strap fully when seat is off, when you put it on velcro will release. So looser is better in this case. I havent had issues after that. hope that helps if not snaps or tape should work. |

I got the straps on mine extended and added more velcro - the damn things are just not that well designed in the first place. |

Mine fit funny from day one on my SX I just safety pinned it and haven't had an issue with it moving around at all. |
