Terrible damage to the left foot apparel. Severe damage to the big toe if not taken care of.


LOL.. This is what has happened after the primary cover repair I posted a long time ago. It wears out all my shoes.

replace current nuts with acorn nuts.

this will help you a lot. if the acorn nuts are too shallow just grind down thread depth. the screw(bolt ends are digging into the shoe and boots. acorns will be smooth and add many hours life.

tractor supply and Lowe's have them in stainless. don't use stainless screw and nut in risk of galling and getting frozen on the bike. use one mild steel and one stainless.

I have locking nuts on there now. The threads just stick out too far. I'll smooth them off this weekend.
