so tonight i was leaving work and walked out to the parking lot and climbed on the bike and started backing it up well i slipped in the gravel and layed my bike down, it was gental so nothing is really wrong, except that my left side footpeg snapped (it was a comfortable ride home!) but i was just curious if anybody had a spare left hand side (or set) of lightning pegs they would want to sell?

Are they the same as bolt pegs?

Bolt are straight, lightning are 1" lower.

Buying the 'bolt lower set, which is actually a set of lightning, is almost the same price as a single one.

Sorry, my loose ones are 'bolt, lightnings are on the 'bolt.

yea what archangel said, lightning pegs have a one inch drop in them compared to stock bolt pegs, i have my stock bolt pegs in my barn so its not like I cant ride it i just have to swap them out but I have a feeling i wont like being more cramped than i already was.

BTW how do i go about getting my pegs off, i clanced at it but wasnt sure

Easy. Circlip holds it in place. Remove clip, cover the spring, lift up pin.

NB: spring will fly out, and part your hair (not mine I don't have any there). It's not a lot of pressure so your hand is safe. The eye would be a bad option. Looking for it in the grass behind you is also not a great option but at least you still have both eyes, assuming you had both to start.
