FWIW, I had a Corbin on my old XB9. IIRC, the seat was ordered from American Sport Bike. It had black leather trim and carbonium the seat area (textured vinyl to look like cf). I am curious if it is better (more comfortable and cooler/temp) to go with leather in the seat area in liue of the carbonium. I liked the carbonium. It didn't show wear. And it looked cool. I am just wondering what leather in the butt area would be like. Whats your preference.....carbonium + leather -OR- all leather?? |

You are ordering the seat for NEXT season, right?....it will take at least that long to get it....and that's IF they get it right the first time....good luck with that. |

Nope, ordering for this season. Actually, my season is just starting. Too hot to ride in the Vegas summer......just now starting to get cool enough to ride. Corbin quoted 2-3 weeks for a seat. |

Huh, I've been riding all summer here in Vegas... I'd check http://www.motorbikesaddles.com/, Corbin has a rep for horrible customer service, Baldwin is awesome to work with and makes the seat custom to you. Highly worth it! |

I like Baldwin saddles. He's a one guy show and you can actually call him with questions. He's top notch and a buell rider himself. http://www.motorbikesaddles.com/ |

Hey guys, thanks for info on Baldwin. Looks like nice stuff. Need to do some more research on them......but maybe I will go with them. Same price as a Corbin. |
