Ok here is my question i poise to everyone. My firebolt is white with chrome wheels. I want to do something to spice it up. Do i change the color or do the whole thing in Carbon fiber? The plastics are in great shape on my bike so a paint job would be great. Let me know your thoughts or what you think i should do. |

Going with complete carbon fiber will cost a lot. I priced it before and it's somewhere in the neighborhood of $3000 to do everything. I ride a white xb12r with blue rims and blue windshield. I like the white personally. If you really want another color, I would buy used plastics or salvaged ones and then paint them with some good paint like House of Kolor. Check out buellster parts. They sell salvaged parts. |

Paint it blue. Blue is the best |

WAAAY back in the day when I first joined there was some colored carbon fiber floating around. Expensive as all get out n very hard to come by but looks dead seksi. |

There was a bad-ass NCR Leggara Hypermotard featured in Cycleworld that had a blue tinted clear coat over carbon fiber that looked awesome. |

I'll trade you my blue plastics for your whites. I've always loved the white R's. They probably aren't in as good a shape as yours are though. |

One thing that looks good and provides protection is the carbon fiber frame rail covers. AND trojan Horse just put out the best looking tail section ive ever seen and its only 217$ |

One thing that looks good and provides protection is the carbon fiber frame rail covers They protect nothing but from scratches. I've owned them.... fit even sucked. |

that red caliper just looks too right.... IMO, a grand for the CF set ain't a bad deal, i've considered the swap at one time too.. You could always sell the set off to recoup some funds if you get bored w/ it. If you wanna paint a set, piece together a rough set, please keep the minty white plastics away from a spray gun |
