I found this belly pan while looking at other body parts at Trojan but I didn't see it for sale on their site. Can anyone help me identify it? I really like it. Here is the page I found it on and the picture. http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/9.html

WOW! That is sweet! I would love to know too. That front fender seams to work well with it too. |

Yeah I originally found it by looking at the front fender. I think this is Trojan's bike. I saw it on his profile picture here as well. Hopefully he will be able to tell us who makes it. |

PM Matt and ask. IIRC - that was a combo of a couple bike fairings. |

That wouldn't surprise me. I saw an undertail for n xbR once that one of his boys had made out a CBR kit. Needless to say it wasn't available for sale |

This picture is of our 2003 race bike (XB9R fitted with XB12R engine). That particular belly pan was made using an aftermarket Suzuki TL1000S belly pan as a starting point and then lots of filling/cutting/glassing etc. Stupidly I never took a mould from it, so it was a one off production I'm afraid The fairing is from a Yamaha TRX850 that slotted straight onto the XB9R fairing brackets (almost). We used it as it gave the bike a distinctive look and gave us more room to advertise on the flanks than the stock XB mini fairing We spent ages making a NACA style 'ram air' scoop in the left side of the fairing that connected to the stock XB9R right side scoop. Later though we changed to a larger oil cooler and race scoop which made this redundant The front fender is still available though http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/9.html

Thanks for everybody's responses. Too bad those aren't available. So are there any recommendations for a sweet looking belly pan? I have plans on a drummer and was thinking about the Buell race pan. |

I'd gladly pay 300$ for one of these Matt.
I flat out refuse to pay 300+ for a THIRD Ermax especially after noticing just how weak the LED's in them are. (Message edited by buelltroll on August 11, 2010) |

what front brake is that on the top pick from a gsxr? The brakes on the top picture are Brembo monoblocs and were part of a kit designed by Free Spirits in Italy. This consisted of new lower fork legs, calipers and discs and fitted to the stock Buell upper fork legs. Front wheel was a Buell X1 fitment Dymag. This kit was expensive and only available for a short time unfortunately, as it worked extremely well. On our later 2006 race bike we fitted an R1 front end which worked almost as well. I'd gladly pay 300$ for one of these Matt The undertray in that picture is sadly no longer available. It was made by an Italian company called Racing Motor and they no longer produce Buell parts. It used a Honda Fireblade tail light. There aren't many alternative undertrays available for the Firebolt models other than carbon versions of the stock part. This is partly because the model was discontinued over here a few years before they were in the US (2007 I think). |

I have noticed the shortage of undertails available too. I was thinking about buying an extra one online and fiberglassing my own using it as a donor piece. Probably cutting it out where the light goes and finding a new light that would fit flush. Then filling in with fiberglass to smooth it all out. Hope that makes sense. |
