I am experiencing the notorious code 21 for the interactive exhaust solenoid but all seems well and works properly. My stator tanked about the same time that is where the code 16 came from for low voltage, My questions is what can i do to fix the code 21? I have cleaned the connections and lubed the cable and witnessed it operating fine. Is the light on forever now? |

Did you clear the codes out? If you are still getting them after clearing them, then you are still having an issue. Replace the exhaust actuator. |

I thought the only way to clear it without a dealer scan tool was to start it 50+ times without the problem occurring and the light will go off. Is there another way? Its an 08 firebolt xb12r and i don't think the ECM spyware data link will work. |

Yes you can use ECMspy to clear the codes. The 50 starts thing works too, but if the code is persistent (current issue), 50 starts won't clear it. |
