In 03 there was a 72 tooth XB rear pulley. It takes an 11mm pitch belt. Was there a 72 tooth pulley made for the 04 up bikes in the 14MM pitch? I understand the gearing can be achieved with a front pulley change. That is not what I'm after. I'm simply looking for a 72 tooth rear pulley in a 14MM pitch. The V-Rod uses this set up but does not have the correct bolt pattern. The 1125R uses a 70 tooth and the CR a 76 tooth. |

All the 04+ XB models use a 65 tooth rear sprocket, same pitch as the 1125 belts. |

Froggy, so what you are saying is the 1125 pulley's will fit an 04 and up XB belt. Do the pulleys have the same bolt pattern as the XB pulley? |

Yuppers the only difference between the XB(04+), 1125R, and 1125R belts is the tooth counts. They all use the same width and pitch and mounting pattern. You could in theory throw an 1125R or CR belt and sprocket on a XB, and assuming you make up for the slack in the belt it will work and give you a new ratio. Not quite as easy as that, things like belt geometry and the suspension play a role, but you get the idea |

I've got a cr pulley on my blast with xb wheels. Using a 1 1/8 x 135 hd belt, with an adjustable idler pulley. Works good just need a 26 tooth front pulley to gear it down a little more. Matt |
