i had another bike fall and hit my buell and it scuffed the paint. I think i may have posted another thread a while ago but to no avail. so with that said can anyone tell me if we can buy availible frame touch up paint in a spray? i know you can get exspencive tiny bottles of touch up paint for wheels. Anyone? I have considerd buying frame protectors or making some and just cover the scuff but nice looking ones are 4400 and in another country so shipping will suck ass. Has any one had to touch up there frame?

I have used the Buell frame paint. It is fantastic. Proper prep is the key- LIGHTLY scuff the area to be painted, and properly mask off everything else. Get a good paint prep cleaner. You can not even tell that I painted mine:

You trust Google over me? I'm hurt! : )

The 09 1125's use the same color for their frames too, but it is a XB part number anyway. : )

Thanks so much! I was really worried about that scuff, and I actually made it worse trying to over rub it out. So i guess I need to order it from a harley dealership. Thanks again.

Is there any place you recomind to buy it, or just my local dealership?

I just orderd it. They made me pay first. The chick said let me check and see if its still availible, i said I hope so there are bikes still under warenty. There are a lot of people with parts orderd and weeks have gone by. I hope that does not happen to me.

I will need to store whats left in side so it does not freeze this winter.
