I finally found what I wanted for bars.Moose Racing Moto-X bars. There a little lower and wider, definatly feel better and give the bike a little more aggressive look.I tried a couple different types of Moto-X bars and they wouldn't work with either my front brake line or the throttle cables. But these work just right. Also BIG thanks to Bubba Blackwell for emailing me back to tell me what would work. The control is really good being that they are wider.I'll post pics tomorrow when the camera is all charged up and I can get a better pic of the bike in day light. |

Kaudette, The bars are what they call CR Bend. And they will run you no more than $20.00. Here's a picture

Thanks - I'll look into those over here - looks good with the black color as well. Funny to think that the lawn mover in the background has a more modern motor than the Buell! That being said I went out with a group of 22 riders last weekend and they were all over the 12S in the parking lot - sitting next to a Daytona & a SP-2 you would of thought it would have gotten less attention. And that's not even why I bought it! Well, maybe a little... |

I bought a pair of lower handlebars like that for my 12S but they had the removable center bar. They have the aluminum finish and they are at least a inch and a half lower rise to them than stock. I'll post a picture when I get home. I believe they make black ones with out the bar in the middle. Mine cost $65 or so. |
