1st run, me vs a 1000RR thats been stretched a few inches, running a 40 shot of nitrous  2nd run, me vs my buddy on his 06 R6 Raven, with power commander, 520 kit (regeared as well), slip on.  3rd run, me vs my buddy on his R6 again.  I have a video I'm editing currently, should be up soon. | ||

So...What were you doing different between your 1st and 3rd run? 60ft time goes up, 1/4 time goes down. Sounds odd. Good times though. Are you running stock? One of these days I want to take my 12R to the track. My local track is 4200ft above sea level so my times probably won't be as good as yours. | ||

In my 1st run, the wheelie off the line killed my et, made a decent 60' but the throttle chop killed the rest. The 2nd run I had a good launch but red lit, the 3rd run I had the tiniest bit of tire spin, I could feel it spinning for about 20ft. | ||

To be honest with you if the r6 had a rider on it that knew what he was doing,then that r6 should have been doing about 10.9 sec or at least an 11 sec 1/4 mile | ||

The Buell is sooo much fun to take to the track. Everyone ends like  Had a guy on a 939 want me 3 times in a row, never did get me. He got close enough in the 2nd run that I knew he was close. To his bikes credit, he wasn't a great launcher | ||

My bike is 100% stock, except I run diablo rossos now. I've actually lost some top end since previous runs, I think its time for spark plugs and a new air filter. My two previous times were 12.04@114 followed by a 12.05@115, both with horrible 2.5sec 60' times. Never mentioned, my bikes an 08. If I can gain the top end back, I hope to be into the mid-high 11's next time out. (Message edited by SRWitt on June 22, 2010) |
