Hey guys, I've got a few cleaning issues I cant seem to get past on my 2003 XB9R. 1) My primary (original Black) has dusty 'gunk' on it that seems to keep reappearing. I have used alcohol, 'goo-gone', and also armor-all. Initially when the chemicals soak in, it looks the way it should; but 15-20 minutes later the gunk reappears. 2) Both my leather seats are somewhat brittle and alittle dull in color. I've used Corvette leather shampoo and conditioner but both saddles still look dehydrated after 15 minutes as well. Anybody with this experience? Suggestions? thanks-- Jason |

1. Use WD40 or S100 for the engine. I like WD40. "Dust" is likely mineral deposits from water. 2. Seats are vinyl (plastic). Use A-All for that. |

I 2nd S100. I've been using about 25 years, an it's the best stuff I've ever used. Excellent for bug removal and after washing the bike looks like it has just been waxed. Cost is $10 - $12 a quart but worth every penny in my opinion. I buy it by the gallon. |
