I need to replace the low beam headlight lens on a 2009 XB12SS. Can this be replaced, or do you have to buy the entire headlight housing? | ||

I know the R is the whole housing when purchased through the dealer. Not sure about the S. Maybe someone here has that piece they could hook you up with? | ||

Firebolt32, I think the S is the same, after a long painful look by the parts guy its looking like I have buy the whole housing. I was hoping to find a source for just the lens, or find one used. | ||

they are all sealed up the only way to replace the lens would be to pull it apart with a dremmel tool or heat it in the oven I pulled one apart to try and fab in firebolt headlights and it was a PITA it tore up the housing and I eventually used too much heat and "fogged" the lenses anyway. I just picked up a new set this winter from HD for between 70-80 I think | ||
