I met a guy in San Diego with the same bike as me, and he told me that there is a side intake that helps to keep the engine cool. I have looked everywhere on the web and can't find it. Has anyone else ever heard of this mod and if so, can you help me find it? |

It is called the Right Side Scoop, do a search and get thousands of results. There are several available, including two made by Buell (one is $15, other $50). There are aftermarket options too that cost over $200. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/490203.html?1251131515 |

American Sport Bike has the large scoop and all the bolts to put it together, I think it was $55. They also have carbon fiber versions but those are a lot more money. |

Bleach, I live in SD and also have an 09 Ss. I installed the $15 scoop and it makes a noticeable difference on fan run time. Can't speak for the larger one. |
