OK, there has been much claimed and refuted concerning Velocity Stacks for XB‘s. I’m prepared to offer my bike (Stock 03 XB9R motor), dyno time and any other equipment needed to validate these. If vendors are willing loan me their offering, I will fit, ( I can also offer XB9 and XB12 air-boxes, ECM’s; Stock, Buell Race and Fully Programmable to suit), dyno time at my cost and produce a report. If so desired I will publish the results without identifying the brands (Just Vendor A, B, C…..). If there is a clear winner (I’m looking for an increase of 3 HP or more, peek at the back wheel without reducing the mid-range), I will purchase their equipment, race with it for the remainder of the 2004 season, Run their decals on my bike, list them as a sponsor on Race Entries and on my web site www.ramraceco.com may be more by agreement. Any vendors interested in participating should email me at mark@ramraceco.com to discuss. 119

Mark - contact Bubba and see if he's willing to send the SVVS one your way that he got. I doubt Corey ever got back to him about returning it. I had asked him if I could have it to run tests, but since you're already moving forward with this I'd rather it went to you if not back to the owner. |

Well, at least you've got two to test. You can compare the stock one to the Brand X one. Come on you stack makers, here's your chance! |

I could send my aluminum copy of the stock rubber stack, but its already been tested by Tilleys and proven to be the same as the stock rubber one. |

Great news - 2 suppliers confirmed in the Challange. 1 other is giving it consideration and will let me know in the next day or so. Looks like the RamRaceCo R&D Dept has something to do between races now!! Mark |

"Looks like the RamRaceCo R&D Dept has something to do between races now" I was wondering when that piece of secret sauce you told me about would be getting some testing. Looking forward to seeing how this goes.
