I have found on the Uly board that there is a problem with chafing wires for the fuel pump. A few days ago I went for a ride on the highway. After about 5 miles, the engine cut out. I tightened my battery ground cable and rode on. Then after 1 mile it stopped again. No reason to be found. After about 10 mins, it started back up again. Same thing after about 1/2 mile. Then I finally got it started and rode it home. Yesterday, i tried to start it and it would prime just fine, but wouldn't start. Tried about 5 or 6 times, then it finally started. Should I take the fuel pump out and inspect it? |

Sounds like the spark plug wires have worn through. You might want to check and replace those. -Nick- |

Right on the money. I just checked, and I can see silver from the rear wire. Thanks. |
