Rob,
Blake (Admin) is away for a little while. I'm sure he'll contact you when he returns.

Everybody is SO worried about the dyno results. As for street riders, which I think most people on this board are, as long as it is in the same ballpark I don't think it's going to make that much of a difference. I would like to see the dyno results when they get them done, but truth be told, I buy my exhaust based on sound, looks, and reliability. You gotta have all three (yeah, no force pipe on my bike, 2 out of 3 don't count)

I think sometimes a lot of people worry about numbers that don't really apply their situation. If you want performance that bad, go buy a R1. I gotta believe more people here own a Buell because of it's image, american heratige, and sweet throaty sound. If that were not true you would see more topics like "what's the best knee puck" or people braging about their recent 1/4 mile run.

I like the look of the exhaust, but I am not sold on the springs yet. Maybe it will grow on me???

I like the pucks that came on my Spyke suit.
Others I have tried,Joe Rocket, Buell free ones, AGV are too soft and wear out too fast for me.

Why did I just know Dave would be able to follow my comment up with a Puck Review... So how many sling bags you got sitting around up there? Like I needed another excuse to need to test a 12? I tested a 9 last year and did it for free! It was fun, but it was a "S", I would really like to try an "R".

"well tell me what the fuck you know about how to make an exhaust system work.....
and I keep coming back to

where are the fucking dyno's....are they a business or not....and yes he works for thewm so where are the fucking dyno's "

Settle down Bubba... You're a business man on this here board. Act like it. Just because you and yours had all your ducks in a row when you launched your pipe and these guys have their ducks spaced farther apart doesn't mean you have any right to bad mouth them. You do your business, let them do theirs. It's starting to sound to me like you are threatened by a new product. Well, I think you should be. I might buy a Drummer until I have need of a real exhaust system (after an 88" rebuild) but your constant ranting and slandering of others REALLY turns me off. I think I might just buy a Jardine and mess with the length to get back a little more low range power at the cost of a little upper end power. That's really too bad too... the Drummer seems to work quite well. Maybe you should step off and let Kevin do the business end? He seems a little less high strung.

Its a dyno from cycleforums. I guess you need to be registered there in order to see it. I could always host it myself...if I get time tomorrow.

What like #@%^ SHEEP!!!? because we're interested in an exhaust system?Apparently a guy can get away with saying anything on the internet. There's really nothing he's gonna say to change my personal opinion of him now anyway.

This may have already been posted, but if you go to this site: http://www.dkf-perf.com/tiforce.htm they claim that the manufacturer of TiForce "Manufactures dyno claims 10-12 HP gain over stock system!"
Of course the dyno charts aren't provided.

Anyone bought anything from these guys? If so, how was it dealing with them?

Mike.

10-12 hp over stock isnt all that big a deal. I believe you can usually get 6-8hp with the Buell race muffler & thats with using the stock headpipe.

Plus without actual independant dyno tests, then its all just bs words anyways.

sorry for the bad words....

still stand by what I said tho....apparently anyone on the internet can believe whatever they want...I mean it must be true.

still waiting on dyno's

truely sorry for the tiraid but not sorry for what I meant. I meant what I said.
Believe in the truth tho not the hype.

do whatever you feel necessary.

I am sorry but I just read on DKF's site for the tiforce pipe that you will not need to remap the ecm. if they are talking about the stock ecm I really am gonna have a hard time believing that.

ok I am stupid , see beat ya to the punch!

10 to 12 hp...well as dyna said most others are getting 6 to 8 and we know there is others doing just a hair better than that....but I'll shut up.

and I just thought of something.

might as well stir it up.

John if I should apologize maybe you should too. all that stuff about the jardine beating the hell out of the drummer....I got the dyno's to prove that wrong. So I think you should apologize for lieing to everyone about the facts.

oooops...I'm back!!!!!

Ok... the following will NOT be kind to Orient Express. Rob Hughes, OE has some good explaining to be done! Please prove my data wrong and here is the contact name and number below that performed the dyno run!

A dyno run today was performed at Rocket Harley-Davidson in Madison, AL. 256-340-7333. Buell Tech's name = John.

Bike: Stock 984cc 2003 Buell XB9R
Mods: K&N Air Filter, Buell Race ECM, 12AB, TPS Reset.

Bike owned by: D. Batice - dwayne_bat@hotmail.com

Max Power = 72.1
Max Torque = 59.0

MAJOR REVERSION AT 4.7-5.6k RPM!

Bike was at 82.2 rwHP! with only 12 Airbox and Buell Race Exhaust!

THE BIKE LOST OVER 10 rwhp! Torque drop was over 9.3 Torque loss!

I have the dyno, but graphs is really faint lines, I will scan on next post however.

PLEASE GET THE WORD OUT TO ALL FOLKS HERE AND AT BADWEB THAT THE TIFORCE EXHUAST FOR THE XB9 GETS A FAILING GRADE OF F-.

More power to Buckinfubba! You taught me that you do not need to cuss and discuss when you have a product that works! The Drummer still reigns as the HP/Torque KING!

Rob, as a distributor please ensure this issue is addressed with Proof! I for one can tell you the TiForce created loss power in HP and Torque and created MAJOR REVERSION!

PS

Dyna, my sincere apologies for calling you what I did... fact remains, you are a pretty sharp cookie! I thank you all for the time and patience to provide this data....

The next post will be the dyno pull I am just not too sure how the graph will look posted as it has very faint lines.

DO NOT PURCHASE A TIForce Exhaust for a STOCK XB9!!!!!!!

Rob Hughes, PLEASE PROVIDE DATA TO PROVE ME WRONG!

Concidering it looks to be more of a full race exhaust I kind of looked at it needing a Powercommander/ Techlusion setup to tune the engine to run with it. Course there was also a mention of cones that needed to be run with the 9's to keep the flow going at a high enough rate. Could they have left them out by mistake?

Misato were the cones taken out? just asking so stay calm, dude

Plus on the www.tiforce.com site they have a dyno
up for a 12. Doesn't mean much to me but one of you guy's might read it better and tell us does it make that much difference.

PS If you get a translate box download just cancel shouldn't need it.

I then got an email that said he got it to 83 with a techlusion box but??
I'll see what my force does after my dyno tune next thurs.

Ok time for me to chime back in. And I will be easy on it.
First off don't worry about the top numbers , all dyno's read different. Just look at the gains and the curve. So yes it got gains but nowhere near anything spectactular.
The torque curve looks ok but if you notice down low in the rpms it is less than stock, so this is similar to so many pipes out there.

Well I went to there web site and saw the pic of the pipe without the end caps and saw the construction of it. Now for the shocker....If you want duel outlets, save your money and buy the D&D or the Buell race can, results will be similar as this and you'll have a bunch of dough to spend else where. Never thought you'd hear me say that did ya.
But the construction of the pipe is very similar to the D&D they just hide it in a oval canister, but it is just 2 small tubes back to the exit.

see I can be all nice and all that when I want to.

but I will say this, exhaust is all about volume(not sound level) and velocity, without those 2 working well together you just don't get the best you could.
