So i ordered some amber led strips to stick on each side of the bike to use as accent lighting and also havem wired to blinkers as well. im curious to see where people generally like to mount leds for accent lighting...? |

It's tough, in my opinion, to hide them well on our bikes. I put one in the airbox cover to shine through the intake mesh. |

wiring them to the blinkers will be tricky, i wanted to do it but took the easy route and stuck to a simple circuitry. You cannot show them off when the bike is off without some electrical knowhow if you go the blinker route Im really wanting to redo my work, and figure out a way to light up the front wheel & windscreen

When I did mine to begin with I put one in the fender and ran the line with the brake line. I also took the front fairing off and placed two behind it. That one shined decently. I didn't like the way the one under the fender looked. It hard to get a nice shin because everything has a dull finish. I hid them perfectly on my Dad and Brother's bikes. There's enough chrome to where it reflects nicely. |

ochoa...i like what you got there...definitely think if you figure out how to light the windscreen it look killer. where did you place the leds to light up the rear wheel like that? also...i found these that i might incorporate to do the blinker thing... http://www.customled.com/products/magic_blinker/magic_blinker.htm (Message edited by scheetz31 on May 10, 2010) |

where did you place the leds.... on the swingarm, 4total lights strips there.. and a fixture underneath the cowl for the tire. Be creative, go for it, that blinker you can prolly make several of em from radioshack for $5 |
