Tried a quick google here and didn't find anything... Does anyone know of a working mirror extension block for the early firebolt mirrors (short stalk)? I have a set of the later wider mirrors, but they just look stupid with the droop at the end, makes me think the bike needs some viagra. The short mirrors look good, but they are not far enough apart to be of any real use so I'm hoping someone somewhere makes a set of extension plates and bolts to fit this mirror. |

Ironmachine was the original maker of the mirror spacers. |

Thanks. https://www.ironmachine.com/product_info.php?produ cts_id=28&osCsid=2mr6sgphpg20spqh0sdp8lh7u7 Kind of fugly, at least I know what I'm looking at now. I was going to try making something out of similar pieces, not sure if I'll do that or find a different way. Maybe I'll go back to thinking about cutting the stock arm and extending it and then cover with the rubber boot from the newer mirrors. That would eliminate the droop and still give me the correct look. Have to think about this more. |

I figured even an inch extra wouldn't work so I got block-outs for the mirror holes and installed big Napolean Baren bar end mirrors that stick WAY out there (great view). |

Do you need them purley for extending or to stop the vibrations that make them pretty much useless while riding? |

They need to stick out farther so I can see behind me and not just my arms and shoulders. The newer mirrors are about 2 inches long and work well, but the droop just kills me.
