They got twisty roads up there? Try going down a twisty road with your friend on a zx6r, see who can go faster. Wait.. on second though.. just go buy an R1 or something and learn to go fast in a straight line. That sure is fun.. "Woo hoo!!! Look at me boys!! I can tuck down and make my wrist move - and I go faster!!!" Nah... I'll stick to body positioning, learning to ride and having fun.. Going fast in a straight line is as fun as wathcing the Force Pipe thread on this forum (no offense Misato - I feel for ya brudha) | ||

If you want the fastest Bike, Buell is not for you. But that said, the ZX6R is a great bike. It will stomp the XB on the straights and not get left behind in the corners. The one thing I don't Like about My XB is the straight away speed, and I am bothered by the whole Buell advertising campaign...it only boast about cornering ability. Cornering and straight line speed make a whole.. I love My XB, No doubt about it..But I will be much happier when it comes with 120 HP from the factory...I can dream can't I?..right? | ||

I was just accosted by a guy the other day who told me I had a nice bike and that he had one too. He said the salesman told him it would pin the speedo and the guy tried it with no luck. But, in his defense, he did tell me that he also had a GSXR, and the XB could blow it away in the corners. Remind me why we have all these motorcycle magazines again? | ||

Personally... I like wheelies like that a LOT better that the high ones... The other day on my 12 I carried the front through first and second and into third. The front tire tapped the ground just briefly between each gear . Damn these bikes are fun. I came out of a tight right hander a week or so ago on slightly slippery and very hot pavement in second... got on it hard and heard a satisfying howling sound from the rear tire. WAY too much fun these little XB's | ||
