Well I got you ALL BEAT!!!! I know for a fact that my 1998 Buell S1 has gone at least 210 on more than one occasion. Heck, I was starting to pull away from a Quebec Provincial Police Unmarked Cruiser at 150 while riding back home from the 20th Anniversary Event last year. Imagine a Stock Buell going that fast!!!! CJ, I like the popcorn guy too but this guy is pretty fucking cool too......

has anyone read dynas profile You must be the new guy Everyone has read it..old news in this neck of the woods. Dont worry tho, I will be adding another chapter to it eventually. And 420..what did father Blake just say about the language?????????? BTW, Corey isnt up to the challenge. Used the old "im tired of giving away free parts" crap. Claims to have sent out 10 stacks but nothing to show for them...umm maybe because they dont do a damn thing? Actually on 2nd thought they may make you go a bit faster, hell they will lighten your wallet up a bit & loosing weight is just like adding hp. |

Ahhh look... The smot poker can't take it any more. Grow up dude. This isn't "your" thread... The only reason a thread will get locked is if there's just too much flaming going on. Oh, if it's only one person flaming... The thread will stay open and the flamer will get banned (or at least get an e-mail warning). YMMV. he he, flaming 420 . "Oh THTOP IT!!!" LOL, sometimes I crack myself up . |

Maybe so... Just chill bro. You opened a BIG can of worms with the post about the brion james dudes. We're a real community here... just stick around and work yourself in. Be cool. This isn't like other BBS's. The only one I've found that's even close is corner-carvers.com but they're WAY more ruthless. You would have had a three page diatribe rebutting your worthless, no tech having, crappy grammar posts by now over there... With a whole bunch of profanity that even I haven't heard of before even. At least here we're willing to let you run blindly around until you get an idea of the scope of the place and IF after that you still don't fit in... Well, I guess I'll leave that to Blake (Not that I have any choice ). Just for the record, I haven't witnessed anyone being banned yet. Most realize what a goldmine this place is and tone themselves down or just leave. Which one will you be? Maybe you should go read the KV... There's a LOT of good info there... |

M1, you ever try a pair of Held gloves on? Just got a pair of the Unos from New enough & they are great. Definitely not a track glove, but judging by the quality & comfort level of this glove their track styled ones have got to be fantastic. |

Misato, that was going to be my next option. Its not like I need or want his parts. Just willing to setup & observe some independant dyno runs & then report on their outcome. He wont do it tho, possibly afraid that his claims wont be backed up. |

Anyone ever take a Millenium edition X1 for a nice ride thru the twisting hills of New Hampshire? I did just a few months ago & it was fantastic. Hey wait a sec.........isnt that a Buell? Hmm and I rode an XB9 from Dave in waterloo & an XB12 outta Hals.........hey those are Buells too. Goddamn it...how did I get stuck riding all those Buells?? |

No, I haven't tried a set of Held gloves but I think I will... My friends dog grabbed one of my Pascal Picotte Race rep gloves (yeah, I know, poser stuff ) and ran off with it last night. Damn dog... I paid $75 for the pair new on Ebay... MSRP is $150. I liked those gloves too. |

Nothing wrong with the Picotte gear. They had a sale 2 years ago I believe on the jester jacket..something like $125 or so....pissed me off because I missed out on it by a few minutes. |

Right after the XB's were released a few folks were bitching about what they perceived as "odd" handling or twitchy high speed runs. I was talking with Bubba about that time & he told me back then about swapping tires for a heavier than stock XB one would make all the difference in the world. So far everyone I know who has swapped to non-oem tires on their XB's has been very pleased with the difference. |

LOL...every family needs its children - the 'XBers' are arguably the children of the Buell world. Like any other set of children there will invariably be those that are more mature than their age would suggest...and those much, much less. The only other set of tires I've used on my XB are the D208 Dunlops, and while I didn't notice any difference in handling that I don't attribute to getting my suspension tweaked, I was loads more confident on them and thus rode them to the edge, something I haven't yet managed on the stockers. I'm looking forward to putting a set of Metzelers on for the Running the Ridge tour. |

Well, you have fun. Can't say I'll miss you. At least Dyna, for all his bitching (well deserved, in my opinion) can contribute to an intelligent conversation. So, what color is the sky where you live, since Buells can do something physically impossible there? Just FYI, when I was making runs in the vicinity of 110-112mph on the drag strip, my speedo read about 120. I wonder which one I think is more accurate? |

Ok Ok.....Dyna just came home from a ride from Uke's.Took HWY 31 home.So to see how fast the bike would go I started at the lights where you turn to go to Smiths Pumpkin farm going north on 31 till the next set of lights, must be at least 2 mile stretch. My 12 was according to the speedo about 130-133mph.My 12 has the race ecm,K&N and Drummer pipe.140MPH, NO WAY IN HELL.Dyna knows the stretch of road I was on and its as smooth as a baby's ass, hell its brand new. |

Lucky there wasnt a sheriff waiting for you. Have seen quite a few lately in that stretch. Is definitely a nice smooth road tho. And everyone except Corey & now 420 knows neither an XB9 or 12 will hit 140 mph. And guys, you really wont be able to tell him anything. As I said before "ignore the troll", kinda irritating but just like chicken pox he will go away eventually. Hmm Hard to find molten orange....is than anything like "very rare nuclear blue"? LOL |
