Posted in knowledge vault - no takers. 2009 Uly. Check engine light comes on briefly now and then while riding. Flashes error code 34. This indicates a problem with the idle air control system. There are however three different problems associated with this code number. I have downloaded the eeprom data using EcmRead and loaded it into TunerPro. The XDF file is BUEZD. In the flags/switches section there are error mask byte switches for bytes 0 through 10 excluding byte 9. Byte 6 lists the three IAC errors possible. The Stored Errors Bytes listed are only Bytes 7, 8 and 10. The other stored error bytes (esp. Byte 6) are nowhere to be seen. Am I doing something wrong that is preventing this from showing up? Is the definition file still under development? Has anyone else experienced this and have any input? By the way, there is no physical indication of a problem other than the Check Engine light which shuts off after a few minutes down the road. The bike runs great! Thanks y'all. |
