This is a pretty basic question but when your changing the oil in the primary, are you supposed to have the bike sitting on the sidestand or sitting straight up? I know in the manual it says that the oil should be touching the bottom teeth on that gear, but it doesn't specify if the bike is on the sidestand or on a wheel lift. |

Check your oil on the side stand. Check your primary straight-up. -Nick- |

If you try to add the proper amount while it's on the sidestand, you'll have a mess to clean up. I tried to open the clutch adjustment cover with hot, undrained oil still in side. I don't have the burnt fingers anymore from forcing the cover back on, but I do still have the stain in my driveway to prove it. |
