Who's put a Drummer on their 12S? What did you do with the stepper motor, cable, & wiring pigtail? Particularly the wiring pigtail, as it's just sitting there in the cavity where s-motor used to be, connected to nothing... |

Leave the servo motor in unless you're fitting a race ecm. Just put a small plastic bag and cable tie over the connector. Let it sit there... |

You can leave the cable in or take it out, I think most people pull it out, take your time if you do that. |

cool, thanks for the info. good to hear, as I kinda sorta already cut/pulled cable out. (why not, cables are cheap, right?) will look for Drummer thread. |

I want to make sure I understand this. If I put a Drummer or another similar after market pipe and a race ECM, not only do I remove the cable to the stepper motor, but I can remove the entire motor? I was thinking I had to leave it plugged in. |
