I was just wondering if the packing in the drummer can handle the 600 degree curing temp of a ceramic coating job? I know exhaust temps are around 1300 degrees but what about the muffler itself. I want to coat the header pipes and the mufflers. I live in greenville, SC and know some guys that are certified applicators for this site http://www.techlinecoatings.com/ check out the cermared and cermablue! |

Firebolt, That packing in the Drummer can withstand welding temps so have it coated.....It will not burn...It will only smolder when I weld them together...KEVIN |

Excellent - I was going to have mine done this winter and wouldn't have even thought to ask that. |

Check out the stuff techline has. The cermarad with the flames would look sweet, I have a red XB12R so it would be perfect. |
