I need some short turn signals for my 9R so I can make the saddle bags I bought work properly. I looked through American Sport Bike and didn't see anything I liked. I don't mind if they are as big as the stock signals, but they must be much shorter stalks (basically no stalk). Some nice trim aerodynamic looking signals would be nice. LED is fine too, I'll buy the correct flasher to deal with them.

I don't want to go to an XBlights integrated unit, so please don't suggest it, I want it to look like it is legal.

This is one example, would like to find something decent to fit the fronts to go with it:

Found these on Amazon:

THey also have a Bullet rounded style and these might win so that I know the saddlebags won't be breaking them since they are all aluminum.

...I know the saddlebags won't be breaking them...
Good call! I hadn't thought of that, the ones I posted may not have lasted you long at all.

Following up on this... The Harrison lights use a 3/8 inch (10mm) bolt, my lights are 8mm and no way to get the larger nut up in the front fairing if I drill (not that I would be willing to drill them), sent an email asking about this but it looks like back to the drawing board.

I got some small all-metal dual-filament signals for about $35 a pair (on closeout). I would say if you are looking for something that won't break, stay away from cheap plastic jobs and go with an all-metal housing.

Worked things out for the Harrison Specialties mini bullet in black anodize, but there will be some fab work. He said there should be enough metal to put in heli-coils for the 8mm tubes that he also has (but not listed on the site) so I'm just waiting for a Paypal invoice to buy them. Hope this works. If not I may need to find a cheap machine shop to cut me some 3/8 to 8mm step down studs and drill the center out.

I'm going to try some 2010 firebolt signals on my 07 Xb12Ss...arrowhead shaped with clear lenses. The fronts are stubby like the rears...haven't got them yet but they are on order.
