O.K. I haven't been able to check the site for a while, and I hope this doesn't start any $#!* but i heard that Buell will be starting back up in a couple of years. Is there any truth to this or is it just B.S. that someone is spewing? Again I don't know and don't want to get anyones hopes up. Like I said I heard a RUMOR. Please be gentle when you respond. Andy, What though are the possibilities of it becoming a STREET LEGAL bike.... I am wondering if that is his plans... get them racing and exposure...then produce for the open market.... Matt | ||

Doubt it with that bike- too many patents and what-not owned by the mothership. But...this keeps him in the motorcycle business, which is a VERY good thing! Street bikes will come... | ||

Yes that was his plans to get exposure by winning races, but he never planned for Buell to be shut down. There will be no corporate buy out of Buell it has already been tried. | ||

do you think maybe harley will bring them back or do you think it will come back head-on as just buell? just got my first buell so hopefully they come back before they stop making parts. | ||

I'm thinking that in a couple years of so when I trade mine in for a KTM or Ducati and receive basically scrap metal trading value, two weeks after that Harley will re-introduce them and the trade in value will sky rocket. A couple weeks late for me though.  |
