Author Message   Jasonxb12s Posted on Sunday, April 11, 2004 - 08:39 pm:        I happen to be very anal when it comes to a clean car, bike, house, hands, etc. I was wondering if anyone has any good tips on cleaning engine parts on there bike. It says that it is fine to use on motorcycles. I have not used it yet. Something to do with the filter in the sprayer and a sheeting agent. I am interested in cleaning the engine block, oil cleaner, all mechanical parts. You can find it at some of the bike shops in N.C. You just wet your bike, spray it on, wait a few minutes and spray it off with the hose. The company is from Roanoke, VA. liquidperformance.com   Fst_tyms Posted on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 - 09:02 pm:        Try pledge and simple green. Pledge for all the plastics and set. Simple green for the rims and motor. Its cheap too. Also try using a toilet brush to clean your rims, makes it much easier to get into the nooks and crannies I also use a lot of Plexus for windscreen and plastics when I am @ work. Its easy and works really good for a quick clean.   Prof_stack Posted on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 - 11:55 pm:        Washed my XB9S today and would you believe it the clouds let loose with rain... S100 is my choice for a good stand-alone product. As noted above, rinse soon after applying/scrubbing with the sponge. I've used Simple Green in the spray bottle and it worked well but not as well as the S100. I finish the job with a clean diaper on the easy-to-get-to places and compressed air for the rest.
