I change engine at 2000, and primary every third oil change. Primary:Syn 3, Engine: 15-40 desil(tractor) oil. | ||

Once a year or at the mileage shown in the owner's manual which looks like about every 5000 miles. I just put Mobile 1 V-twin in mine and it is much happier than whatever was in there before. | ||

I do it once every 10k miles, which is the scheduled interval according to the 2008 owners manual. | ||

The 05 *R manual looked like it wanted it every 5000. Funny thing was I spent 10 minutes flipping through my 03 9R service manual to see if I could find a chart of service intervals and didn't run across it. Thought that info should have been in the first chapter where they talk abut the normal maintenance procedures. | ||
