I want to send my fork uppers to Grand Stand Designs to be anodized, but they don't fit into the small tanks so I would have to pay $200 for the large run. If you have parts to send in, we can split that cost in an equitable way and we all win! I'd like to send them in this week and get it rolling soon- post up here if interested! |

Thanks Ian. And Froggy....trust me, I know what you mean. The project that started out as installing some new plastics, turned into new plastics, custom graphics, many many parts getting powder coated, painting the wheels, all new suspension, and now a bunch of anodizing! |

I've had that kind of project in mind before I even had my cycle registered. Not sure if I will every do it though, might just keep it stock. That dye must be expensive, I would expect the anodize tank to be pretty big so it must be all for the dye. Seems like it could be done in only about 2 gallons if the container was shaped right. |
