Has anybody had a problem with warrety work if they put an aftermarket exhaust system on themselves, or do you think i should just have the dealership install it. |

My dealer says that any aftermarket exhaust will void your warranty. I think he just hates Buells. |

My dealer says that any aftermarket exhaust will void your warranty. I believe they would only be able to refuse warranty work, if the new exhaust cannister you put on your bike, caused the problem. It has to be directly related... |

And they have some wild ways of attempting to twist things around. Will blame all sorts of issues on your exhaust. Course as Mike pointed out, your best defense is a good relationship with a good dealer. |
