Please note with the shootout it mentions that the special ops pipe had a rattle ringing sound. I can confirm that isn't the case, at least from mine and others.
My SpecOps did have a very harsh resonating sound. The other ones I heard had it also. I think different people have different levels of sensitivity to it.
I will put my two cents in and say that the D&D exhaust I have on mine has a nice sound and easy install, but I am on the 1125r. I have heard a few different mufflers though since I did own a xb12s for my first Buell. Just pick a sound weather it be deep or loud, but enjoy you can't go wrong with any of the ones you have mentioned.
Anytime Steve. The scoot is at the shop right now waiting for billet shifter and brake pedals, a new billet aluminum catch can, which is at the anodizer right now, and a tire change. Got some new Conti Road Attacks to get on there. AND my cousin has a vinyl cutting and printing machine coming in the next couple weeks. Should look interesting come ridin season!
I think for durability, looks, deep rich sound, and the performance without sacrificing any low end torque, I will purchase the Drummer SS. The Hawk and Special OPS have a different sound than the Drummer, not bad, just different. D&D I have heard in person, it sounds decent but not quite the same as the Drummer. I think over the long haul, the Drummer SS will keep me smiling for a long time. I just mailed my check to Kevin.

Anyone know anything about a Bison exhaust? I know it is a race pipe, but I still think I'm gonna run it on the street. Of course at the same time I'll be getting a tuned ECM from EBR.com. Just wondering if anyone might have a picture or 2 and maybe a soundclip.
I have heard that you could purchase the chin fairing brackets for the Jardine pipe and just use those for some other aftermarket pipes, assuming your aftermarket pipe isn't in the way.
Just wait a couple of mouths and the best sounding, looking and performing pipe will be brought to market after final prototype testing and fuel maps are done.Very affordable with no core-charge and excellent warranty!!! Stay tuned for more info "FLYIN'BRIAN"
Trust me,it will be worth the wait!!! There is a new player in the game and all the things I wanted in a pipe I put into mine including the necessary required software maps based on your bike and equipment installed, options include stainless-steel or jet-hot coating in black or silver,Brian
