Maybe NRHS should just dump Farce all together, and try testing the Becin as a replacement. I know the current cost is higher but should more numbers of the Becin be produced it may help lower the cost per unit price, JMO. V/R, Nick |

impuning NRHS dissolves you of all credibility. I don't care who made the pipe, if NRHS sold it, they have to stand behind it. That is one major problem in the world today. people dont want to take responsibility. |

Seems to me that someone from Force or NRHS could come to this board and clear up any misconceptions pretty quickly if they wanted. Should be interesting to see if they do. |

Regardless, of the way it should be......... for example: you think your local (any) Buell dealer is doing warranty work or refunds without first going to the manufacturer? At this point it's anyone's guess what Farce has told NRHS, if they had said "we will replace all of the pipes" then as NRHS what would you do? wait? |

what would you do? Write off my losses with the Force go with the Becin and double the sales Think of Force as the Edsel, if it Dont work, get rid of it. I am sure Edsel Ford asked for a chance to fix as well. JMO, Nick |

what would you do? wait? Again, I do not care who made it, if you sell it, stand behind it. Let NRHS deal with the manufacture. When you leave customers hanging for months on end, you have major problems. It's not brain surgery "Fix the damn Pipe" and send it back to the customer who already paid for the goods. 30 days Max or give a refund. No lame excuses, "Take care of Business, Period" |

funny, NRHA will take my paypal payment of 949.95 right now. So what gives? do they just get your money, and then keep handing out excuses about sending you what you paid for? |

A. Farce would get crucified if they came to this board B. this is a very sticky situation for NRHS C. as a heavily $$$$ involved party I would love nothing more than to have all parties at the table working towards my happiness that isn't going to happen here. |

"funny, NRHA will take my paypal payment of 949.95 right now." you've got to be kidding me! if that's the case.......I stand corrected, that would imply that they are selling a product they know to be defective....... imply.....it could be as simple as not updating their site? I have heard they weren't selling them anymore from someone in the organization. |

Sam, I usually just read this stuff but let me put my two cents in..I called Georgette and ordered a front bracket and a couple of the little red pipe supports and was talking to her about the warranty on the force pipe and she told me there is "NO WARRANTY" on the force pipes now this is straight from her mouth not from someone who heard it from someone who's friend who heard it from his buddy sort of thing...I had bought one when I had a sportster and it broke and when I sent it back they "said" that I had only sent back half the pipe and Johnny said I was trying to pull some sort of scam and that I had nothing coming...so what does that tell all of you.....the force pipes make good power but are lets face it,made with to thin of metal, a little heavier gauge pipe and I think that it would be better and less breakages.... |

"No Warranty" = Buyer beware...they could send you a pipe made of tinfoil..if the seller isn't ready to stand behind it, that should tell you all you need to know! |

Brian, My friend, How can you say this. NRHS sold it. They need to stand up. Now if they said flat out that this pipe is a "No warranty" Item, then OK. But you would have to be foolish to spend that much money and have no gurantee.

gonen thats just it anybody that would spend that much with out a warranty and the reputation for breakage, well then they were foolish. but that is their own responsibility. kinda like what was said earlier tho...say your buell breaks and hd warranty says tought cookies. if it ain't expensive maybe the shop helps you out. if it is expensive..they probably won't and can't every warranty is a manufactures warranty not who sold it. Wal-Mart doesn't warranty stuff, they exchange stuff. NRHS's has nothing to exchange from force. plus we are talking about small business not so large conglomerant. again I stand by the fact that this is force's problem. They made and created the monster |

This is none of my business, and is just pure speculation on my part, but I bet if you emailed or called NRHS and said the following:
quote:"would you refund me any and all ***profits*** you made on the sale of my force pipe back to me? In return, I agree that you are not responsible for the remainder of the money I have spent on this pipe, and the issue is then exclusively between me as the end buyer and force as the manufacturer."
I bet they would be happy to oblige. If I called NRHS and said "I need a good pipe for my XB" and they recommended the force and I bought it, I would be pretty ticked. If I contacted them and specifically told them the make and model of the pipe I wanted, then I would not blame them at all, its between me and Force. I guess even if I called them and said I need a loud pipe with big power, and they said "Force will be releasing one soon that will product top power, but we don't know anything else about it" and I ordered it, I would then have nobody to blame but myself either... But like I said, none of my business... |

every warranty is a manufactures warranty not who sold it. Wal-Mart doesn't warranty stuff, they exchange stuff. NRHS's has nothing to exchange from force. then NRHS should give the paying customer his money back and deal with Farce. when I bought My last Motorcycle helmet, the guy at the bike dealer changed out the face shield for me (dark smoke)...when I got home to go for a ride, the shield would not close easily with one hand, you had to use both hands, one on each side of the shield, to close it properly. I went back to the dealer the next day. The salesman said yes, that is not working right,So he said go pick another one (same style), So I checked them all, and they were all faulty. so He got on the phone with HJC.He gets off and says, you have to leave the helmet and we have to ship it back for repair. I laughed as he said it will take about six weeks. I ask for the manager, and after some loud talking, and lots of customers listening, He replaced my helmet with the next model up (or said I could have refund). the seller has to stand by what they sell. exchange, upgrade or money back...that is the right thing to do. NRHS is still selling the product...Crazy |

I'm probably jumping into a fire here, but I don't want you to think we're ignoring the situation, Here's what I know: After I started getting reports of fractures on these pipes, I contacted Force and inquired about what steps to take next. I was told to refer everyone back to Force directely so that they could handle any repair and or replacement on these pipes. This is common practice when a manufacture finds fault with a product - look at the retailers that sold all those Firestone tires a few years back for example. It wasn't them replacing out hundreds of thousands of tires, it was the manufacture. As a middle-man retailer in this case, this is the only real course of action we have available to us - it's 100-percent the manufacture's play to make. Since then I have inquired periodically with Force as to the status of whatever fix they may be working on, and last I was told they are very close to being able to return the pipes to everyone who sent them back to Force. This comes from Force as of two weeks ago and I have no way to say if it's completely true or not. I trust my rep at Force and she tries her best to give me timely, accurate updates, but a lot of the time I think she is left in the dark, or is only given partial information on the progress of this fix. That is all I know at the moment. I will continue to do my best to gather more information from Force as often as I can. I sincerely apologize for this situation, and will continue to work toward a satisfactory resolution. As for the website, that is an error from the recent redesign, and the order link for those is supposed to be pulled. I will rectify this situation immediately. Thanks to those who brought it to my attention. Justin Schilling Sales NRHS V-Twin Performance justin@nrhsperformance.com |

It probably needs to be said too that the last one of those pipes that we shipped to the customer was last Summer sometime (I believe August), before any concerns were raised. As soon as I confirmed there was an issue with the product, we stopped offering them. They were left on the website intially because Force gave us an ETA of just a couple months to be back in production. Obviously that hasn't panned out. Then when we added online ordering to the site these pipes were scheduled to be pulled and simply weren't. My apologies for any inconveniences this miscommunication may have caused anyone. I heard that there were around 27 pipes sold. I can not see any reason for it to take 6 months, please explain it to me. how about they pay for my fucking bike payment and insurance the last 6 months, plus I want a extended warranty for the time that I could not ride it. and buck'n, if I had known about all the problems with force I would not have purchased it, I bought it from the reputation on this board for NALLIN. also, I was under the impression that there was a 90 day warranty on it, its just recently that they changed it to 'none' 'my responsibility' believe me I will not make that mistake AGAIN I have swayed at least 5 people that WOULD have purchased that pipe and will continue to do so. NHRS is just caught in the middle, I realize that and never put the blame on them. if I was selling something and it went to shit, if I made it or not I sold it, I'd be on the phone with them everyday to make my customer happy and to get is resolved one way or another and not drag it out, but I guess thats just me. I have been EXTREMELY patient and understanding thus far, TIME IS UP.

So 27 have been sold. One of them was mine. It's not broke so what do I do? Do I send it to Force? I don't want my bike to be down while I'm waiting for an upgrade that may or may not be near completion. This sucks!!! |

Not all dealers "Force" you to deal with the manufacturer of a defective product. I had a set of Sampson pipes on my Dyna & they broke after 3 weeks. Took em back to my dealer they refunded my money to me & said they would be contacting Sampson for their refund. |
