Ok, I orderd this kit from American Sport Bike. It is a kit that replaces your seat screws with a cotter pin kit. So you can remove your seat with haveing to crease it or fumble around. you can take your seat off in 10 seconds. I got tired of the process, so I bought this. It is way over priced @ $20 plus shipping. The problem is they sent me the wrong kit. They sent me the kit for the 1125R and CR. So I called them and insted of sending it back and them sending me a replacement they r just resending me the XB cotter screws and nuts. Once I receive the proper parts I will put them on and give a review with pics. Also, I hace an alarm system that holds back up power so it someone cuts my battery it will still sound @ 130db's for a half hour.

Those pins are nice, I will be ordering some soon for my 1125's. I plan on using one for the seat, and some other ones for things like the front fairing so it can be removed easier. |

Froggy, I will send you a set for free, just renburse me for shipping. All you will need is the cotter pins. Go to a small hardware store and get two pins for a $1 buck. I will send you the ones they sent me by mistake. The screw part that takes the pin and the nuts. You really dont need the wires. Im going out of town for a week, when I get home i will ship them to you. I will have my laptop with me. We can swap info later. merry X-mas |

You could use a rubber or foam washer under the cover on the stud pin. Then push down untill you see the hole and enter codder pin. This will eliminate any vibration or noise. Just an idea. |
