That is an interesting pipe, I have never seen one like that before. I saw a Voodoo pipe that looked similar, but the internals were much different. |

Someone on another site said the same thing. It had some Voodoo charactoristics, but they were just not sure. It was said that it might be a voodoo that has been moded/alterd. (Message edited by brightbuell on January 07, 2010) |

It looks like a very good homemade copy of a Drummer. |

There is a youtube vid link after the last pic for those of you who dodnt see it. If you look at the first pic.It has a factory zipper weld. I was told those types of welds are used on factory race pipes. The pipe does not have a stamp that says for race use only. Then I was told not every VooDoo had the stamp. Im puzzled. |

Sounds nothing like any drummer I have heard. I am thinking maybe a Hawk or VOODOO. Jimmy |

Only drummer I've heard is Mel's, but that is after he ripped it open on that bridge and patched it back up...probably sounds different than a regular drummer. Just listened to it again and I think it sounds a lot like how Mel's drummer sounds now... |

i don't think it's a voodoo. I've seen jim's designs, and they look nothing like what that sketch is. and if only the race can has that zipper weld, i highly doubt he would've destroyed one. especially with what they're going for on fleabay. it's something, but not a voodoo. |

Every OE can I've seen has had a 'zipper' like that...race and regular. |

Ok, I went and bought a dentel mirror so i could better see in the can. I found that my diagram in wrong. I was told Jim said it looks like one of his, and now that i found that my diagram was wrong it is concluded that it is infact 1 of 12 VooDoo's. I just got through speeking with another proud owner of a VooDoo who knows Jim. I am so stoked that I ended up with such a cool pipe with out even knowing any thing about it. I can honestly say my life has gotten better since I bought my buell cash money. Thanks for your help everyone. |

Here are a few pics of my Voodoo exhaust from Jims portfolio taken in 2005. It has not been modified from it original design. I held my pipe in my hands while compairing the weld bumps and polish lines in the stainless tip. Just like finger prints they match perfect. What r the odds of ending up with one of twelve voodoo pipes. And then figuring it out with a little research and help from my buell friends. Sooo Fing cool.
Looks like he used a shinier paint. i used 4 coats of a heat resistaint flat paint. I still might add a coat of a diff gloss blk heat paint before i put it back on. I wanna know how they got the perimeter weld to look so clean.... or is it even welded? Its VERY nice! I've made a couple Dummer/Spec. Opps knock offs.... but my welds look like a bird took a dump on flat rock from a 100 feet up...LOL |

wolf I would say that TIG looks the best as far as hand welds flowed by Oxy Fuel. That said I have no idea what kind of a weld that is without looking at it closer. |
