I wouldn't usually post something like this but I was impressed.

I bought a set of REVIT Airvolution gloves. After riding a few times I started to notice a pain/ irritation in my right hand at the base of my fingers/palm. I tried them a few more times but couldn't stand it, so I called them. Without hesitation they sent me a shipping label and asked that I mail them back, so I did. They kept in constant communication with me for a couple weeks on what was going on. Then emailed me that a new pair would be shipping out. No questions asked, nada.

You don't find that kind of service much anymore.

Not only is it a great product, but they also stand behind it with great service. I will buy more of their gear and I recommend it to anyone!

They're hard to find but worth it when you do. I have a Rev-It Mesh jacket that appears better constructed and more protective than anything I've seen from the competition (yes, it was more expensive, too).

Almost bought their Turbine jacket and pants, then noticed that for some stupid reason we don't get the water resistant liner here in the USA. That makes it a 3 week a year jacket around these parts. Apparently in Europe you can get it with the liner (could be wrong). Ended up buying Tourmaster Flex2 instead (should ship today).

Since you have had contact directly with them, send them a note about this since they did lose a sale based on that decision.

Otherwise it looks like nice gear and I think I would have liked that suit.

Check out
http://www.revzilla.com/
They have a good selection in stock. They also have a store in Philly where you can try on a lot of there stuff. Nice.

Greg,
I will email about the liner and see if it is an option.

I emailed them too, but don't really expect a reply since they already lost the sale. On the Rev'it USA site they even list the liner, but if you scroll down farther they have that jacket listed again, and this second choice does not say anything about the liner. It looks nice and many other people like it, just too bad it doesn't fit my climate and their other products (like the Sirocco) don't really fit what I want. Odd that the Turbine pants do have the liner though.

So the pants have the liner, but the jacket doesn't? That is odd.

I have a Joe Rocket jacket (Rasp) and Pants (Alter Ego) and both came with liners, the jacket liner is about worthless. Good warm to mile weather jacket, horrible cold weather. Pants are good in the cold weather.

Yup, that's why I am confused.

Maybe they'll trade my stuff for their stuff to make things up for the issue. The windproof liner would allow use from about April/May up to about October here. If the Tourmaster is decent it should extend things a bit farther than that since it has a quilted 100g liner too.

it is a bit colder where you are than I am so it is hard for me to judge riding gear in that area. But here that last few days, the only thing that kept me warm was a heavy leather jacket. Anything else and the wind made it through. But I'm still riding!

I have a revit jacket and it did in fact come with the waterproof liner and a down vest, both which can be removed.

You may have a Rev'it but do you have the Turbine Jacket that I mentioned?

If I had decent gear I could have ridden the last couple days. I have snow capable clothes, but no armor in them at all and it would have been enough to keep from freezing. Works OK if I am off on my own and there is little traffic, but for the daily commute with all the stupid cars and their drivers shaving, or putting on makeup, or talking on the phone, or reading the paper, or still half asleep I don't think it would be wise.

A few good reviews of the gear I bought, so as long as it fits I should be fine. Nothing really bad to be found either which is usually the first things that come up on the web. Though I really did like the color scheme of the Turbine better and would have spent the extra money to get it if it met my desires (not sure about real needs, so desires it is).

The Rev'it Cayenne jacket and pants looked really nice, but the price was crazy. Would probably make a really good long range touring set.

I sport a rev'it one piece suit.

Only one I have ever owned or worn but it fits great, like a custom suit, and is very well made.

I have a Rev it Air Force jacket and coordinating mesh pants (don't remember the name). The gear does flow air as advertised. Both came with a liner. I got caught in the rain and got wet even with the liners. I would wear rain gear next time.

No doubt the quality of the gear is top notch. It fits snug, not baggy, which is what I wanted. I would buy it again. It's is the best women's gear that I have owned by far. It is targeted at the woman rider, not the typical "girlfriend on the back of the bike" fit and function.

I used revzilla.com as well.

There are reviews on webbikeworld.com on several pieces of the Rev it gear.
