The frame had a manufacture date of January 2002! When did XB models hit the showroom floors? Your recalling has been recalled... The XB9R was 'launched' or more accurately introduced to dealers on Friday July 13th, 2001, the day after the VRSCA V-Rod was introduced to dealers. As far as I know it's the only Buell to be introduced on a Friday the 13th.
