I received a wall plaque with my name and a picture of my new bike I bought along with model#, VIN#, and the dealership where I bought it. It has Buell in the top corner and a waving US flag and an eagle in the background. Its nice and will soon be hanging in my office. Do all dealers do this or is this dealer really trying to keep me as a long time customer? | ||

I think that is a great idea! I bought a new Buell this spring and did not receive one. I must be a dealership thing! | ||

Stone Mountain does something similar. I got a laminated card with a picture of my new bike, with the VIN# and my name on the back. Got a calendar with me on my new bike. A Buell pin, Buell key chain, and a Slay the Dragon II t-shirt. | ||

i got a laser engraved/etched glass plaque from my dealer and a framed photo, hell i even broke the plaque and they sent me another. pretty cool, considering when i bought my nightster i didn't get shit. lol | ||

Its a dealer specific thing. My dad got one from buying a Screaming Eagle 'Glide from somewhere. I have bought 4 Buell's, and all I have gotten was a nice letter from Eaglemark asking for money  | ||

I got the plaque from Kegel's when I bought mine. Black with metal plate "built for R.D." US flag background, big pic of XT in center. Nice enough I hung it beside my bed. It was a nice touch. | ||

Ourdee, Yea, you know what I'm talking about! I got that exact same one. Im just nervous about what my chick will say about having to replace her picture on the nightstand. As it is she happened to mention that I have received 5 packages for the bike and NONE for her. | ||

I received the same thing from Brandon Harley/Buell. My bike looks nothing like it anymore...lol | ||

I got one of those from Mid America HD/Buell when I bought my Blast in 07. Only owned it for 3 months, and I'm not sure where the plaque is now, but it is a cool idea to keep return business at the dealer. | ||

Nassau County Harley Davidson/Buell has done this for all three Buells I've purchased from them. Two are hanging in my office right now; the third I'm sad to say (my original M2 Cyclone) was misplaced. If I find it, I'll hang that one too. | ||

What's up with dat? It's up to the dealership. It's an H-D tradition kind of thing. Of all the bikes I've bought over the years, my Buell is the only one that came with a "Welcome to the community" | ||

I just got a 'Sincere Thanks' card in the mail signed by the dealership owner..and a wallet card for a two month 15% parts discount. Probably the same for my M2 back in the day. | ||

I didn't get a plaque but I did receive a dvd from the the Deeley race team here in Canada | ||

Me and my wife both got plaques for our new bikes from Ozark HD/Buell. They came with the VINs, image of the bike, American Flag and Eagle in the background embossed with our names on the plaques. They look VERY sharp. I am pretty sure it is a dealership thing, they also let us grab a couple of free T-Shirts and the parts department gave us a battery maintainer for each bike. | ||

I got a free T-Shirt each time, too. Unfortunately, each time it was a HARLEY shirt, for which I had no use. I donated the shirts to the local "Goodwill" when they had their clothing drives. | ||

I got the shirt with the plaque and the thank you card. And a free pizza dinner, and a head doo rag, and a 20% off shopping card, and a spray can of harley cleaner, and a pencil and a harley shop rag, and a puck for under my kick stand. | ||

i got free t-shirt from my dealer.. on the back of the shirt it says "I got mine at Riverfront Harley- Davidson".. and thank you card in the mail.. | ||
