Well I have a question that I know one of my buelligan brethren will be able to help with. I have plans to go on a ride to daytona and back with a group for biketoberfest. They only problem is I own a XBR and have had a brocken neck from a previous wreck and also a L4-L5 ruptured disk I had to have surgery on which still pains me. I have been looking for a XBS top triple and bars and whatever else I may need to put on mine to make it more painless. I "WILL" go on this ride but I may be hurting like heck when I get there unless someone can help me out. If anybody has this they want to sell at a resonable price even if its just the triple I would forever be greatful. I would go buy a new one but with me being working part time and going to school full time im in no way rich. I am in cape coral florida at 33909 and even if its scratched is ok since I want to paint it black. Also is there anything else I may need other than the bars and triple? Will the throttle and all else from mine hook up to the XBS bars or is the diameter different? Please excuse my poor english as im still learning.... Please help me so I can go from this> ot this> on the ride. |

If it doesn't work out for you get the xb footpegs that are an inch lower. That'll take some strain of your back. |

Have you tried a tank bag? You can stuff it with your clothes for the trip and lay your chest on it as you ride. You would probably need to keep the lower bars to make it work. I am older, and found that this worked on my City-X before I put higher bars on and moved them back. |

Etennuly ty for the recomendation but its the leaning over that hurts my back so I need higher bars to sit up. Froggy you would be a life saver if you do. |

well that's kinda my point...I don't know what size are the 05 forks on your bike? and the 07? I know Buell had multiple fork diameters...but I don't know what years and diameters. someone smarter than me will likely chime in! |
