I just received the Direct Link usb key and data cable from American Sportbike and it didn't come with any directions. From looking on Al's site i downloaded the pdf guides and went through them but as i install i noted that the setup didn't go as shown on the pdf. Am i supposed to do something before i can actually read the ecm? I'm certain i am getting good communication because ecmspy does see some information and so does direct link; but it will not save the original map. Does anyone have any clue as to why this is happening? |

Why not call Al and ask him...? You just might get a good answer. Mike |

Did you figure it out Kurt? I still haven't loaded Rogers map on my bike yet. The weather and school hasn't left much time to tinker. |

Why not call Al and ask him...? There's no one better to call, not only does Al know what's what, he's a great guy as well. I'd bet you'd enjoy talking to Al as much as you'd enjoy knowing what you need to know. |

Hey all, yes i have talked to him and everything should be ok; this software doesn't come with very good instructions and all it took was Al to give me a quick rundown. So now i can start tuning and riding again. Wyatt i'll send you a pm in the morning, just got in from Conroe and it's kind of late right now. |
