Hey guys, read most the 1125R mirrors on XB threads. Just seeing if anyone had a pic of the actual holes to drill through fairing for the turn signal wiring. Get my 9R back today after months in the shop and eager to put the 1125R mirrors on and go riding. Just need pics of the mounting/holes to drill. Oh yeah WILL post pics of done bike tonight |

i don't have any pics off hand but its just a simple hole between the 2 mounting holes already on the fairing. if you cut the adapters off the wires then the hole only has to be big enough for the wire, however if you leave the adapters on then you're gonna have to drill a larger hole |

If you need any ideas or pictures on or anything for this email me, my xb12r has 1125r mirrors, but I have to warn you, the left one is useless unless I want to see the pretty lady riding on the back. |

I second that!!! I love the look and the function of the blinkers in the mirror but you cant see anything besides yourself. I have been toying with the idea to drill out the rivet and replace with a bolt to try and get a more permanent angle but haven't had the time to play with it yet |

I drilled a hole just slightly off centre to pass the wires and bullet connectors through. Drilling the rivet out and replacing with a nut and bolt works well, I read on here to also grind the little return notch away. This allowed a lot more usable adjustment but the suckers still vibrate like the stockers. |

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the info. Me and my pops will be doing this tonight. Didn't wanna post pics of newly customized bike without the mirrors on. |

Man, that looks awesome. That's on my mod list for sure. Was it a pain to hook up? |

Not at all. I didn't drill any extra holes, the wire can pass between the fairing and the magnesium support. On the bike you will have black - wire and a colored + wire. If you connect it backwards it will not damage it just swap the wires. You will need to put new connectors on the wires coming from the mirror. If you are not going to use the factory turn signals you can find the right connectors that will plug into the factory harness. These are the ones I used.

Thanks for the tips guys, got them on and wired up. They look great! Thinking about trying to apply some cling-tint to make them look dark.
