New XB12S owner here. I knew the Uly muffler could be used as a jacking point, but can my race can be used as a jacking point? I need to remove the rear wheel and don't won't to invest in a stand right now. A $200 tire is enough for this month. Ok, I just found a post in the Knowledge Vault that says I can do this - hope it works! (Message edited by wannabe on September 16, 2009) |

Yes, you can use the race can as a jacking point. |

I run a race can and have used the jack points without injury. You should see them marked. Throw a shop rag in between the can and jack just in case... (Message edited by firebolt32 on September 16, 2009) |

Keep an eye out on craigslist, I just picked up a nice swingarm stand for $30! |

look under the can, there's jackpoint arrows, at least both mine had them. you should see them without having to lift the bike. |

I tried to jack a race can, but the owner came out and chased me off with a shotgun. Just kidding. I couldn't help myself. |

Thanks guys, jacking pts were evident after I removed the chin spoiler/fairing. The bike is new to me and didn't come with a manual of any type. Now thanks to this site and some online manuals I'm set. |
