Started her up as usual today and the high beam indicator light came on, but no lights.

Tried toggling the high-beam switch, nothing happened.

Tried the finger trigger, nothing happened.

Checked the bulbs, both are fine.

Checked connections to bulbs and between bulbs, they are fine.

Checked for errors in ecmspy, no errors.

Checked and wiggled fuses, all are fine.

Blinkers and rear brake light work fine.

Any ideas before I take off the front fairing and dig around?

Make a bet its the connection behind the front fairing. mine does it all the time. Take a zip tie and put it around the connector to secure it closed tight.

Highbeam indicator + no headlights = Bad ground. (Usually)
Wiggle wires and check the grounds, I believe it grounds to the bolts that hold the fairing assembly to the frame.

Broman...connector behind the fairing, does it look like the ecm plug, or like a spade metal connector?, or something else...
I tried reconnecting things but ill give it another shot.

Froggy, thanks ill look for the grounds and try to wiggle em around

UPDATE

For those that care I figured it out.

It was a loose ground connection in the white connector under the front fairing.

I cut the wires and bypassed the connector all together so now I know they are connected properly. All is well.

That happened to me. Same issue, same culprit, I had the dealership fix it while I was in there stopping by to see my Mom. What you've done is fine and will work, but I'd personally get a new connector and pins to fix it right. Just me....

I had a loose connection in that 4 pin connector making my low beam a hit or miss so I cut all the wires and put a new 4 pin plug in it's place. Works like a champ now....
