So for those of you who have tested the small and large RSS, what is the verdict?

I got the small one-piece and installed it today. No fan came on and the bike stayed cooler, although it was a cooler day than it has been and the ride was relatively short.

Just curious how much difference the big two-piece scoop is over the little scoop. I was thinking of getting the bigger scoop, because it looks better than the little one.

I have both small and large. I'd have to say that on hotter days, the large scoop is head over heals better at getting my rear to stop sweating! And yes, I changed them out on an 89 degree day. I ride my bike in all weather except snow. And my but dyno says stock scoop in the winter(more heat to keep me warmer.) Small scoop in "chillier" weather, 45-65(little bit less warmth, but enough cool to keep me from sweating) Anything warmer I'll go with the large scoop. It is enough difference to buy all 3. But that's my .02. And to add another item into my equation, I have the large heat shield from special ops for my firebolt. And yes, that makes a big difference too. Hope this helps.
