From the main forums selection page: Buell XBike models include: XB9R & XB12R Firebolt (Sport-Fighters) XB9S & XB12S Lightning (Street-Fighters) XB9SL Lightning Low (Lowered version of XB9S) XB9SX aka "XB9CX" Lightning CityX (City Cross Urban Assault Bike) XB12Scg Lightning (Lowered version of XB12S) XB12Ss Lightning Stretched (Longer wheelbase version of XB12S) XB12STT Lightning Super TT (Motard Inspired Tourist Trophy) XB12X Ulysses (Adventure Sport) XB12XT Ulysses (Adventure Sport Touring Who the hell ever called it a Lightning Stretched? It's Lightning LONG! LOOOONG! And on another note: What's an XB9SL? When did they make that, and how is it different from the CG? Did they just give the 12 and the 9 different letter designations for some reason? ~SM (Message edited by Swordsman on September 14, 2009) |

I have been meaning to post something similar, the XB12XP has no section, same with the XB12SX and 1125CR. Anyway, the 9SL was for like 03-04 if I recall, then they dropped it, and the 12SCG came out some time after that. Damn midget riders, taking up valuable factory production time! What do you think the extra S in SS stood for? Its not XB12SL, because then people will think its low. |

But didn't the Buell website formerly refer to the Ss as "Lightning Long?" |

XB12SX? When and where Froggy? Did I miss one? I think the CR fell under the 1125R section. |

Ah, the rest of the world gets the animal we all wanted, the rest of us threw headlight/hand guards on our XB12s. I didn't think I had missed anything. I see they must measure HP differently as well over there. EU Standard EC95/1 Good info. (Message edited by biffdotorg on September 16, 2009) |

The Euro bikes have a different exhaust system and tune to comply with their regulations, so they are down on power compared to US bikes. |

I've got a xb9sl, been using it for track days. 03 production run was only like 1500 units. Gonna get it road worthy for my girlfriend...I'm gonna miss my track bike. |
