What a drag. Had seen some pics, heard some rumors...Came out of the hardware with shop a couple of bolts for the rss and there it went. I had only hoped it was the stuff rumors were made of. Irony, I don't know? |

A misconception about choppers is they are the bikes with a long fork set up.The name chopper comes from the 50's when guys used to ride old ww2 Harleys. They'd start taking things off the bike and chopping fenders and such.Hence the name.Stretched out death traps are just that.Regardless of the style of bike when you start taking things off it becomes a chopper.Just ask anyone over 50 years old. |

Redneck engineering makes a frame just for the lightning. Its actually a bad ass setup. Considering the buell lightning motor is nothing more than a sporty with better flowing heads, forged pistons and a lightened flywheel. |

we should think like buells are like high powered corvettes as to other cars.makes sense to source a turnkey high HP engine if you cant build ur own,or buy a other brand's built engine. as for choppers? i think ppl now call the old chopper as bobbed nowdays, and long forked things get the chopper name.i do like the getting rid of foo foo junk on bikes and cars. i love minimalistic stuff!like a buell! |
