i am not coming across any "i have done it and this does/doesnt work" posts. i know its been done. just cant find it. basically im just checking my options. yes i know i can get other setups but i am also trying to do this fairly inexpensively and can come up with most of the original parts pretty easily and cheaply compared to some of the kits. i am more wondering if i am going to end up needing all the cables or if some have worked by rerouting them. it would be stock s upper triple tree and stock s bars |

I did see somebody on here who had done it just a few weeks ago.... it was a blue firebolt, they said that there were no clearance issues. |

Not sure about the cables, but I did the opposite. I put a firebolt front fairing on my S. I am not sure, but you may have clearance problems with the bars hitting the fairing. I had crossroads bars and they were pretty close at full turn. Being that the S bars are higher, it might be a issue. I eventually ended up doing the full R swap and put the R top triple on. I replaced the cables and brake hose because i had a ton of slack. You may be getting tight with the stock clutch and throttle cables, but I cant say for sure. |

im pretty sure there isnt enough slack in all of them to make it work, but was hoping someone had spent the time trying. |

Bars will contact the fairing when turning. |
